Drew Edwards
“Drew Edwards is an award-winning comic book writer, horror film
historian, music journalist, rock promoter, and showman extraordinaire.
He is a Best of Austin winner, a two-time Ringo Award nominee, and a
proud member of the Pen America Fellowship of Writers.
Best known as the creator and writer of the long-running underground
comic series _Halloween Man_, Edwards has spent over two decades
blending horror, humor, and social commentary into cult-favorite
storytelling. Thousands tune in weekly to hear him on the acclaimed
_Castle of Horror_ podcast, where he serves as a regular cast member and
pop culture commentator.
Known in music circles as “Howlin’ Drew Edwards,” he has helped
bridge the worlds of horror, comics, and Austin’s iconic music scene.
Through _Halloween Man Productions_, he founded the popular “Punk vs.
Rockabilly” showcase, a SXSW favorite that celebrates genre culture
and independent music.
Drew currently lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife—musician and
activist Jamie Bahr—and their daughter, Luna Bella.”

Dia VanGunten
“Dia VanGunten is a writer with roots in the Austin punk scene who pens articles on music, movies, art and fashion, but her primary focus in fiction. Dia is the creator of the Pink Zombie Rose series.”

Mickey Clausen
“Mickey Clausen is the owner and Publisher at MindWinder Studios, located
in New Braunfels, Texas.
He is currently publishing “Tales of the Godai” ( co-created with
his 16 yr old grand-daughter, Gianna McElroy who is illustrating, with
Mickey handling the writing, the colors and letters) and “Seal Team
One” (written and illustrated by Veteran Seal Team One Operator Frank
Richard with Mickey handling the colors and letters). Also coming soon
is Shiro-Usagi: The White Hare of Inaba, Created, written and
illustrated by Mickey. He is also handling the inking, coloring and
lettering of “The Chronicles of Panda Khan” for Abascus Press, a
full color repainting of the original black and white Panda Khan stories
from the late 80’s early 90’s.
Mickey Clausen has been freelancing in the Comic Book Industry as an
inker and colorist since 1985, working for clients such as Marvel Comics
on the "Marvel Legendary Deck Building Card Game”, Dark Horse Comics
on Shook, Silverline Comics, Boom Studios/Pixar on the comic book series
“Toy Story” and various covers for Disney Comics such as Mickey
Mouse and Uncle Scrooge, Viz Entertainment/Cartoon Network on the
graphic novels for “Redakai” an animated cartoon, Mattel Hot Wheels,
Image Comics (Exposure and Jade Warriors), Markosia Comics, BlueWater
Comics, Digital Webbing, and Kenzer & Company.”

David Luján
“Hailing from Austin Texas, artist/writer David Luján has been working in the comic book world since 2022 when he released his first book Uriko about a Korean vampire in 1900 Seoul. Since then Luján has worked on several titles including Big Game Saga, Dusk Witch, La Osa, Something Beyond the Petrichor, Blues and Breastmilk and Nerida, penned by Luján about a young mermaid trapped on land.
Luján has also contributed to several anthologies including Cyber Sync (2023), And Out Come the Comics (2022), LKC Ash Can #4 (2024), Drinking and Fighting Make for Fireworks (2024) and Public Defender The T-Shirt Decapitator (2024).
Beyond his work in comics, Luján plays music in the bands Born Twins, Yard Work, Peering Posture and If Not This Then What.“

He has made appearances on various geeky podcasts for Wired.com, OneOfUs.net and MyHorrorConfessional.”
